Chile Cheese Puffs
1 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt 1/2 cup unsalted butter 1/2 cup sour cream 1 cup finely grated sharp cheddar cheese 4 ounces diced green chiles, drained
Combine flour, salt, and garlic salt. Cut in butter, until crumbly. Stir in sour cream-mix well. Stir in chiles and cheese. Shape into a ball. Wrap in plastic and chill 4-12 hours, until firm.
On a floured board, roll out to a thickness of 1/4". Cut into 1" shapes. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 14-18 minutes, until puffed and golden serve hot, warm, or at room temperature.
