Hi,
I'm looking for a middle eastern track that covers the subject of spring/renewal ( for a beltane hafla) and would be suitable for a veil dance, any suggestions?

Hi Saahira,
I think I may have found just the thing for your Beltane veil dance .... Loreena McKennitt 'The Mummer's Dance' from 'The Book of Secrets', although it's actually very Celtic influenced, I can just see you dancing to this.
It has a traditional Mumming song chorus
TEXT We've been rambling all the night And some time of this day Now returning back again We bring a garland gay
The rest of the CD is wonderful, I especially love 'Marco Pole' which has a strong Arabic beat. One day I will dance to that one myself. Her 'Mask and the Mirror' also has some tracks which were influenced by her travels in Marrakesh.
Hope this helps.
