Mar7aba! I know in some parts of Saudi Arabia (al-mantaga ash-shargiyya, perhaps?) people pronounce kaf as a ch sound, kayf 7aalich, for example instead of kayf 7aalik. I am curious as to what part of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf do people have this pronounciation, and are there differences in pronounciation between Najd/Hejaz/Hasa and so on? I get confused at trying to make regional differences because whenever I have talked to people from Saudi Arabia it is a group from different regions at once, so I don't know how to separate them out into different dialects. shukran katheer l-mosa'adatkum!
