these are spice blends, created by graham kerr (of "galloping gourmet" fame) to lend the taste of foreign lands to anything you season with them.
Scandinavian Ethmix
4 1/2 teaspoons horseradish powder (wasabi)
2 1/4 teaspoons caraway seeds
3 tablespoons dried parsley
2 1/4 teaspoons wild mushroom powder
2 1/4 teaspoons dried seaweed
1 teaspoon ground white pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
4 1/4 teaspoons sea salt
Grind all above to a fine powder and add:
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
Northern France Ethmix
10 teaspoons dried tarragon
1 1/4 teaspoons powdered bay leaf
5 teaspoons dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
10 teaspoons dried chervil
Grind to a fine powder.
Northwest Italy Ethmix
8 teaspoons dried oregano
4 teaspoons dried basil
4 teaspoons ground fennel seeds
4 teaspoons rubbed sage
2 teaspoons dried rosemary
Grind to a fine powder.
Southern France Ethmix
2 1/2 teaspoons dried rosemary
2 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
5 teaspoons rubbed sage
1 1/4 teaspoons powdered bay leaf

16 whole juniper berries
1 teaspoon dried Cascade hops
1 teaspoon mushroom powder
4 teaspoons dried chives
2 teaspoons horseradish powder (wasabi)
2 teaspoons caraway powder
8 teaspoons dried marjoram
2 teaspoons white pepper
Grind to a fine powder.
