For me, it has to be anything by The Partridge Family. I fell in love with David Cassidy when I was just 9 or 10. Those songs are etched in my memory. Anytime I hear "I Think I Love You" it takes me back to those days! What's the song that does it for you? - Blossom

Hi Blossom, At the risk of showing my age, it would have to be "Show Me The Way" by Peter Frampton. It was the first concert I ever attended, and I treasured the album "Frampton Comes Alive". Back then, I spent all summer at the beach, and the rockers at my high school even called me Frampton because I was slim and tan and had the wavy sun-bleached hairstyle. Now that he's no longer a teen idol, I appreciate his amazing talent on the guitar. My dentist saw him in concert recently and said he's even better than he was at the peak of his popularity. Moral of the story - we don't just get older, we get better! Thanks for starting this thread, - Chris

Wow! That would definitely be The Marshall Tucker Band's "Can't You See" or "Take the Highway" (same album!) -- or the Charlie Daniels Band "Devil Went Down to Georgia". Haven't thought about these songs in a long long time! Bonnie @>-,-'-,--

Well, hmmmm.... We all seem to be from the same era, except Amirah, she's just holding out! I remember The Partridge Family (8th grade) Always had the hots for Shirley Jones, as well as Maureen McCormick...any guesses who that is...? I am also a big fan of MTB, CDB, Allman Bros. (a couple of weeks ago I kinda had "Jessica" turned up louder than someone in the neighborhood wished...they called the cops...it WAS still daylight...duh...I've only lived here 23 years...all they had to do was ask...! ), anything recorded on the Capricorn label in the late '70's. Saw Peter Frampton in '76....very talented, influenced by Django Reinhardt...quite different looking today, selling his guitar lessons via infomercial... I have so many good music memories, it's a hard question to answer...I have two older sisters, so I was exposed at an early age...a little early Elvis, Beatles, Beach Boys... My choices, not limited to: '60's-"Michelle", Beatles '70's-"Black Magic Woman", Santana;"Look Away", "If You Wanna Get to Heaven", Ozark Mountain Daredevils; any Lynard Skynard ;D '80's-"Kyrie Eliason", "Africa", Toto; many others. '90's-"Three Strange Days", School of Fish; anything by Andreas Vollenweider. 21st century-Dave Mathews, Matchbox 20, Robert Randolph and the Family Band. For me, music is kinda like food...there isn't much I don't like, except for iceberg lettuce, liver, contemporary country, and opera! (Aren't you sorry you asked?...if you come to me for a drink of water, I give you the ocean!) Your friend always, Greg
